WELCOME
We understand that reaching out for more information about this new therapy is a significant step. We want to assure you that we're here to support and guide you through this process. Psychedelic assisted therapy offers a unique opportunity for self-discovery and transformation, and we're excited to share more about how this journey could unfold for you.
Who is Eligible?
Currently psilocybin assisted therapy may be approved by Health Canada for people experiencing the following issues:
End of Life Anxiety/Distress
with terminal illness
End-of-life anxiety or distress is a complex emotional experience that individuals may face as they approach the final chapter of their lives. It encompasses a range of feelings, including fear, uncertainty, and apprehension about the inevitable unknown. People confronting end-of-life anxiety may grapple with existential questions, reflecting on the meaning and purpose of their lives.
During a guided psychedelic-assisted therapy session, individuals may experience a deepened sense of introspection, allowing them to confront existential fears and gain new perspectives on life and death. Psychedelics have the potential to facilitate a transcendental or mystical experience, which may lead to a sense of interconnectedness, acceptance, and spiritual insight.
Treatment Resistant Depression
For individuals (18+ years of age) experiencing persistent emotional distress that has proven resistant to conventional treatments—whether due to treatment failure, intolerance, limited access, or personal refusal—psychedelics present as a potentially transformative therapeutic option. By inducing altered states of consciousness, psychedelics can enable deep introspection, providing an alternative framework for addressing entrenched emotional challenges. The potential to enhance emotional regulation and promote psychological flexibility could be particularly beneficial for individuals who haven't found relief through traditional treatments. Psychedelics offer an opportunity for renewed hope, insight, and healing where other approaches may have fallen short.
